Jennie Kermode

Jennie Kermode is content director at Eye For Film and author of ‘The Orpheus Industry’. She published her first short story at sixteen and works full time as a writer. She is also active in politics, campaigning on LGBT and disability issues. She spent a decade nursing her partner through leukemia and has a serious illness of her own, mixed connective tissue disease, which led to her spending last New Year in a coma. Aware that life is likely to be short, she does her best not to waste any of it.

Aged thirty four, Jennie lives in Glasgow, Scotland, with her partners Donald and Stuart. She currently has a short film in production in Los Angeles and is working on her second novel.
