Uke Jackson, actor
Uke Jackson is a playwright and songwriter.
His new musical “Café Lysistrata” is in pre-production to open in Manhattan in the coming season. He is also casting a dramatic monologue for a young actor, titled “Byron in Hell” about the romantic poet.
His previous musicals and plays include “Sex! Drugs! & Ukuleles!”, “The Secret Warhol Rituals”, “Monster Time” and “Avenue Z Afternoon” which he adapted for television for a GM Mark of Excellence production. “Bigger Better God”, a song from “Café Lysistrata”, is a current JPF Muisc Award nominee for Best New Cabaret Song.

He divides his time between a home in Delaware Water Gap, PA and a loft in Manhattan.
